The Maxim-Siemens sorter will provide a new Maxim Barcode Sorter frontend with a Siemens Level Distribution Unit and a stacker module. This sorter provides the benefits of a new sorter using a new Maxim frontend, with a used Siemens LDU and stacker modules to keep the costs more economical. It allow letters to be processed at a high speed, providing a smaller footprint, and an economical price. The modularity of the sorter allows adding stackers or other modules at a later time to update the functionality of the sorter, and increase the number of outputs as your business needs change. The software on the NPI sorter allows custom configurations to be saved and quickly brought back up for different mail sorting job requirements. The software also includes reporting and sort plan generation to meet the requirements for the US Postal Service, in addition to billing reports to keep track of mail pieces processed, and postal discounts achieved.
